77 bed, two storey care home with all ancillary facilities on land off Orphanage Road, Erdington. This facility offers respite residential, permanent and dementia care, and sensitive end-of-life care. Designed with residents in mind, Elderflower Grange has a range of luxury facilities, including a café, cinema room and hair and beauty salon.
The Challenge
Working adjacent to an existing development site required regular communication and collaboration to ensure CDM obligations were achieved. Due to the requirements of the development, designing for long-term safety, wellbeing, and operational maintenance was paramount.
The Outcome
Our in-house Principal Designer team, covering both CDM and Building Safety, provided a joined-up compliance strategy by helping to manage construction safety risks and ensure compliance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations and the wider requirements of the Building Safety Act .
